The On-Demand 2024 Wisconsin Sleep Society Annual Conference is now live!

The On-Demand Wisconsin Sleep Society Annual Conference is now live as a course on our website. This program has been approved for a maximum of six contact hours Continuing Sleep Technology Education (CSTE) credit by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists. Please note that if you have already attended the live conference in May 2024 you are no longer eligible to earn the additional credits.

About the 2024 Wisconsin Sleep Society Annual Conference

The Wisconsin Sleep Society Annual Conference took place on May 10, 2024 at Marriott Milwaukee West in Waukesha WI and featured lectures on the recent advancement in the field. Attendats had a chance to meet peers, talk to vendors, and win one of the many prizes we have prepared! 

The Board of Registered Polysomnographic
Technologists (BRPT) designated this educational activity for a maximum of seven (7) Continuing Sleep Technology Education credits. Individuals could claim only those credits that he/she actually earned in the educational activity.

Catherine C. Loomis, PhD, CBSM, DBSM

Specialized in the field of behavioral sleep medicine, and working exclusively with those who have sleep problems, by offering cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia.

Christopher Williams, M.D.

Robert Sonnenburg MD, FACS

Has practiced in Northeast Wisconsin since 2005, became a partner of BayCare Clinic in 2014, and currently serving as Chief of Staff at Aurora BayCare Medical Center.

Musab Nusrat, MD

Dr. Nusrat held fellowships in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and in Sleep Medicine at the Wayne State University, Michigan. Currently in residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, he treats a broad range of pulmonary conditions.

Marla Van Lanen from Wisconsin Sleep Society

Marla Van Lanen, CCSH, RPSGT

Marla is the Facilitator for HSHS Sleep Disorders Centers and has been actively involved in sleep medicine since 1988. She also serves on the Faculty for Fox Valley Technical College NDT Program. She is an advocate for advancing the field of Polysomnography and is a speaker on the local, state and national level.

Alec Ingold

Speaking to the leaders of tomorrow has always been a passion of Alec’s. He has partnered with speaking coach Barbara Pinion Lash to perfect the art of keynote speaking. Together they have created a message to translate Alec’s life lessons to businesses and universities across the country.
